CUSTOM SLEEPER TRUCKS ...If your interested in a Kenworth with a custom sleeper,       A couple of us in sales at Fort  Wayne Truck Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana  specialize in New Kenworth trucks modified with the best in custom sleepers (ARI, Indiana Custom, Double Eagle and Bentz Sleeper are all with us in NE Indiana) often, new and used are in stock.

I'm Lynn Doctor, one of the sales guys at Fort Wayne Truck Center... an e-mail ldoctor @ palmertrucks.com will get my attention.  Grant Harris and Mike Moss (both are older and probably wiser than me), also do a lot of custom sleeper work.

Most of the large car stuff is done by either ARI, Double Eagle or Indiana Custom Truck.  Bentz Sleeper does excellent work for the smaller T300's.

this USED T600 w/ 120" Sundowner Custom Sleeper is a cherry!  394,000 miles used as a Broadway Show's  equipment transfer vehicle.   The Gen. set only has 2,800 hours.  It is a '95 with a 3406E set at 430HP, 13 Speed, 24LP tires.  Fresh white paint.

95t6120csRt.JPG (37798 bytes) $77,000 95t6120ins.jpg (63953 bytes)sold in 1999 (strange, I suppose - but, I could sell this truck today 1/3/2008 for close to the $77,000  we were asking in 1999.  Yes, custom sleeper trucks tend to hold their value very well... particurlarly if it is not a distress sale. It simply takes a while to find the right buyer and to get that buyer financed... even for a dealer.   That is one reason why few heavy dealers want to mess with the complexities of custom sleeper trucks that tend to be very expensive when compared to other trucks and the potential for large potential losses )
